Teen Challenge Golf Tournament - July 12, 2010
On July 12, 2010, New Wave Media participated in the Annual Teen Challenge Marathon of Golf. Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is part of a network of over 15 Teen Challenge Centres across Canada and more than 1,000 worldwide. The program has a strong faith-based approach and offers spiritual, academic and vocational training that helps equip individuals to return to society as responsible citizens. The event was held at the Turner Valley Golf Course, with Theoren Fleury as the main speaker. It was great day to hit the links, all for a great cause!
21st Annual Stampede Parade Friends Party - July 9, 2010
On July 9th, 2010, New Wave Media attended the 21st Annual Stampede Parade Friends Party hosted by Richard Seto and Friends. All who attended showed thier Stampede Spirit and adourned western attire.
Burgers for Boobs - June 19, 2010
On June 19th, 2010, New Wave Media attended the event "Burgers for Boobs" a fund-raising party for the ZooBoobs Team (Dawna Sagi and Sonia Law), who are each walking 60 kms in the Weekend to End Women's Cancers on July 24-25th. 2010. In addition to the walk, ZooBoobs is also committed to raising a combined total of $4000 for the Alberta Cancer Foundation. We had a great time at the event!
