Overview

First and foremost, the owner of Michieli Custom Concrete, Deano Michieli, is a pretty cool guy. Not only cool, but we can personally attest to the work that these guys do, amazing stuff! (Free advertising for you Deano!)

Challenge

When Deano approached us on creating a new site for him, we kind of already knew what we would be in for. In his own words, his existing site did not do his work justice. The value that custom concrete adds to one's home is incredible, it's something that you can showoff to friends and family. But in this case, we had a company providing impeccable service, yet not showcasing it to potential clients through their current Website.

Solution

The Michieli Custom Concrete site incorporates Drupal CMS technology giving the client the tools that he needs to manage the content on his new Website. To really showoff the work that MCC does, we added a spectacular portfolio section which allows users to view custom concrete examples as thumb nails or better yet, as a slide show, full screen or half screen. You can even watch the slide show presentation in 3D, how cool is that?

Further to this, we wanted to be able to showcase some of the work that MCC was doing, while in progress. We added a "Latest" and "Current" project area to the home page of the site, right at the front and visible for all to see. The "Current" project allows for potential clients to read and see a project in progress. Once the project is complete, it's as simple as clicking "complete" in the back end of the site to add it to the "Latest" project archive. Neat. As MCC completes projects, the site will automatically archive the work, creating an incredible library of work to showcase to all potential clients.
