The boys at Tangent Environmental Technologies have really hit the nail on the head. Trust us, this is a company that is going to make some noise in the not so distant future. For New Wave Media, we're happy that we can assist in the development of their marketing tools.

Challenge

The creation of the Tangent Website was a step forward for the company as it was one of the first real moves towards establishing a marketing presence and showcasing the incredible work that they are involved in. The challenge was the blending of environmental connotations with oil and gas services. We did not want to overly push the environment feel, and we did not want to forget that Tangent is an oil and gas company first and foremost.

Solution

We all know that content is king, so New Wave Media wanted to create a Website that would allow Tangent the opportunity to educate potential clients on their services, but also educate those interested in our environment as well. Tools such as the custom blog, Water: Our Blue Treasure, easily allow for Tangent staff to upload interesting facts, articles, links, and videos about the environment. As projects begin to come to fruition, Tangent will have the abilities to upload Case Studies and Project details on each respective page. New Wave Media executed a six month public relations campaign resulting in local, provincial, national and international media coverage; the Media Centre of the Website acts as the perfect broadcaster for these placements.

The homepage of the site blends both an environmental and oil and gas feel. Six product/service specialties are clearly visible, while "green" images are mixed in with service images through their rotating banner.
